In fact, that's why I find Patty's presence so mystifying, since her songwriting is pretty much the opposite - subtle and restrained. Probably the best, most thought-provoking song on Dierks' Feel That Fire album. Have you listened to the words? He is a unique and talented songwriter and was just recently featured as THE cover of American Songwriter magazine (May/June 2009). And his voice-to me--sounds great on that song!
