Well, I watched the debate last night. It was definitely enjoyable and I firmly believe that Barack won, by virtue of a tie, but it really makes me miss Bartlett. (And 2004 DNC Obama.) The debate really just didn't seem lively. I thought maybe Barack would get a bit edgy, when he mentioned that McCain likes to pretend that the war began in 2007, but I'm not sure if he really delivered that line as effectively as he could. There definitely wasn't a "Let's clear this up – 'unfunded mandate' is two words, not one big one" moment, but it was still fun to watch.

And my insomnia kicked in last night, keeping me up until almost 8:00 AM. And then putting me to sleep until 2:00 PM. Kudos.
